Nat King Cole L.O.V.E. Lyrics

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore and

Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don’t break it
Love was made for me and you

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore and

Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don’t break it
Love was made for me and you

Love was made for me and you
Love was made for me and you

CHANSON GENRE  »JTE REMONTE LE MORAL EN 2 SEC! »

Paroles et traduction de « The Flesh Failures / Let The Sun Shine In »

Eyes look your last
Arms take your last embrace
And lips oh you the doors of breath
Seal with a righteous kiss
The rest is silence

We starve-look
Nous nous regardons avidement
At one another
Les uns les autres.
Short of breath
Au souffle court
Walking proudly in our winter coats
Wearing smells from laboratories
Portant des odeurs de laboratoire,
Facing a dying nation
Affrontant une nation mourante
Of moving paper fantasy
Du fantasme du papier mobile
Listening for the new told lies
Ecoutant les nouveaux mensonges déclarés
With supreme visions of lonely tunes
Avec des visions suprêmes de refrains solitaires

Somewhere
Quelque part
Inside something there is a rush of
Greatness
De grandeur
Who knows what stands in front of
Our lives
Nos vies
I fashion my future on films in space
Silence
Le silence,
Tells me secretly
Me raconte en secret
Everything
Tout
Everything

MERCEDES BENZ – JANICE JOPLIN

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz
My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends,
So Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a color T.V.?
Dialing for dollars is trying to find me
I wait for delivery each day untill three,
So oh Lord, won’t you buy me a color T.V.?

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a night on the town?
I’m counting on you, Lord, please don’t let me down.
Prove that you love me and buy the next round,
Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a night on the town?

Everybody:
Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends,
So oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

That’s it!
———————–
“Mercedes Benz” is a lonely blues tune about the illusory happiness promised (but rarely delivered) by the pursuit of worldly goods, a hippie-era rejection of the consumerist ideals that Joplin saw growing up as a self-described “middle-class white chick” in Port Arthur, Texas. She had come to California in the early ’60s and quickly earned a place as one of the leading musical lights in a generation that shared her utopian anti-materialism. When Joplin sang, in the second and third verses of “Mercedes Benz,” for “a color TV” and “a night on the town,” she knew all too well that neither would bring her peace. “It’s the want of something that gives you the blues,” she once said. “It’s not what isn’t, it’s what you wish was that makes unhappiness.”

CRAZY BY PATSY CLINE

Et oui, encore du jazz!

I’m crazy, crazy for feeling so lonely
I’m crazy crazy for feeling so blue
I knew that you’d love me as long as you wanted
And then some day you’d leave me for somebody new

Worry, why do I let myself worry
Wondering what in the world did I do
I’m crazy for thinking that my love could hold you
I’m crazy for trying and crazy for crying
And I’m crazy for loving you
I’m crazy for thinking that my love could hold you
I’m crazy for trying and crazy for crying
And I’m crazy for loving you.

AT LAST BY ETTA JAMES

At Last Lyrics by Etta James

At last, my love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song
Oh, yeah, at last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clovers
The night I looked at you
I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to rest my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known
Oh, yeah when you smile, you smile
Oh, and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine
At last

Poème du jour: Pablo Neruda – Il meurt lentement

Pablo Neruda – Il meurt lentement

Vis maintenant!
Risque-toi aujourd’hui!
Agis tout de suite!
Ne te laisse pas mourir lentement!
Ne te prive pas d’être heureux!

——————————–

Version originale:

Muere lentamente quien no viaja,
quien no lee,
quien no oye música,
quien no encuentra gracia en sí mismo.
Muere lentamente
quien destruye su amor própio,
quien no se deja ayudar.
Muere lentamente
Muere lentamente
Vive hoy !
Arriesga hoy !
Hazlo hoy !
No te dejes morir lentamente !
No te impidas ser feliz

Sue Raney – Heart and soul

Heart and soul, I fell in love with you,
Heart and soul, the way a fool would do,
Madly…
Because you held me tight,
And stole a kiss in the night…

Heart and soul, I begged to be adored,
Lost control, and tumbled overboard,
Gladly…
That magic night we kissed,
There in the moon mist.

Oh! but your lips were thrilling, much too thrilling,
Never before were mine so strangely willing.

But now I see, what one embrace can do,
Look at me, it’s got me loving you,
Madly…
That little kiss you stole,
Held all my heart and soul.

La vie en rose – Louis Armstrong

La vie en rose – Louis Armstrong

Hold me close and hold me fast
The magic spell you cast
This is la vie en rose

When you kiss me heaven sighs
And tho I close my eyes
I see la vie en rose

When you press me to your heart
I’m in a world apart
A world where roses bloom

And when you speak…angels sing from above
Everyday words seem…to turn into love songs

Give your heart and soul to me
And life will always be
La vie en rose

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Thrift Shop

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Thrift Shop Lyrics
[Hook: Wanz]
I’m gonna pop some tags
Only got twenty dollars in my pocket
I’m, I’m, I’m hunting, looking for a come up
This is fucking awesome
[Verse 1: Macklemore]
Walk into the club like what up? I got a big cock
I’m just pumped up off some shit from the thrift shop
Ice on the fringe is so damn frosty
The people like « Damn, that’s a cold ass honky »
Rolling in hella deep, headed to the mezzanine
Dressed in all pink except my gator shoes, those are green
Draped in a leopard mink, girl standing next to me
Probably shoulda washed this, smells like R.Kelly sheets, piss
But shit, it was 99 cents, buy it, cop it and washing it
‘Bout to go and get some compliments, passing up on those moccasins
Someone else has been walking in, bummy and grudgy, fucking it
I am stunting and plus it is saving money and I’m hella happy
That’s a bargain bitch, I’mma take your grandpa style
I’mma take your grandpa style, no for real, ask your grandpa
Can I have his hand-me-downs? Velour jumpsuit and some house slippers
Nikki Brown leather jacket that I found digging
It had a broken keyboard, I bought a broken keyboard
I bought a skeet blanket, then I bought a knee board
Hello, hello, my ace man, my Miller
John Wayne ain’t got nothing on my fringe game, hell no
I could take some Pro Wings, make them cool, sell those
The sneaker heads would be like « Ah, he got the Velcros »
[Hook x2: Wanz]
I’m gonna pop some tags
Only got twenty dollars in my pocket
I’m, I’m, I’m hunting, looking for a come up
This is fucking awesome
[Verse Two: Macklemore]
What you know about rocking a wolf on your noggin?
What you knowing about wearing a fur fox skin?
I’m digging, I’m digging, I’m searching right through that luggage
One man’s trash, that’s another man’s come up
Thank your granddad for donating that fab button up shirt
‘Cause right now, I’m up in here stunting
I’m at the Goodwill, you can find me in the Uptons
I’m that sucker, sucker searching in the section
Your grammy, your aunty, your momma, your mammy
I’ll take those flannel zebra jammies, second hand and I’ll rock that
motherfucker
They built a onsie with the socks on the motherfucker
I hit the party and they stop in that motherfucker
They be like « Oh that Gucci, that’s hella tight »
I’m like « Yo, that’s only fifty dollars for a t-shirt »
Limited edition, let’s do some simple addition
Fifty dollars for a t-shirt, that’s just some ignorant bitch shit
I call that getting swindled and pimped, shit
I call that getting tricked by business, that shirt’s hella dough
And having the same one as six other people in this club is a hella
don’t
Peep game, come take a look through my telescope
Trying to get girls from a brand? Then you hella won’t
Then you hella won’t
[Hook]
I’m gonna pop some tags
Only got twenty dollars in my pocket
I’m, I’m, I’m hunting, looking for a come up
This is fucking awesome
[Bridge: Wanz]
I wear your granddad’s clothes, I look incredible
I’m in this big ass coat from that thrift shop down the road
I wear your granddad’s clothes, I look incredible
I’m in this big ass coat from that thrift shop down the road
[Hook]
I’m gonna pop some tags
Only got twenty dollars in my pocket
I’m, I’m, I’m hunting, looking for a come up
This is fucking awesome
